"Princess Cadance and Shining Armor," concludes Princess Celestia, "it is my great pleasure to pronounce you--"

Here's a face nopony was expecting to see today. Particularly not the bride.

"Ugh! Why does she have to be so possessive of her brother?"
Celestia stares at 'Cadance', who realizes that was probably the wrong tone to take. Well, waterworks tend not to hurt.
"Why does she have to ruin my special day?" she whines.

The Cadance at the front of the room quickly regains her composure; there's nothing the other one can do at this point. "You're still too late," she gloats.

It's difficult to make out detail through the column, but everypony watching can tell when feathered wings become insectoid, when a curled mane turns gauzy and ragged, when a straight horn becomes crooked and sinister.
As the changeling's - the changeling queen's - transformation finishes, the flames disappear and she laughs menacingly. "Right you are, Princess. And as queen of the changelings, it is up to me to find food for my subjects." She walks toward Cadance, grinning. "Equestria has more love than any place I've ever encountered. My fellow changelings will be able to devour so much of it that we will gain more power than we have ever dreamed of!"
By the end of her monologue, the queen is practically in Cadance's face.

"Oh, I doubt that. Isn't that right, dear?"
The changeling queen's horn flares, and Shining Armor nods his head. His expression doesn't change in the slightest.

"Ah-ah-ah! Don't want to go back to the caves, now, do we? Ever since I took your place I've been feeding off Shining Armor's love for you. Every moment he grows weaker, and so does his spell. Even now my minions are chipping away at it."
Those in the audience with particularly keen ears may indeed hear a repetitive thudding sound, as of bodies slamming into a shield spell again and again.
"He may not be my husband, but he is under my total control now! And, I'm sorry to say, unable to perform his duties as Captain of the Royal Guard!"
To be honest, though, she doesn't sound very sorry.

"Soon, my changeling army will break through. First we take Canterlot, and then - all of Equestria!"

You are not the only ruler in the room, Queen. The Sovereign of the Sun is staring you down from across the altar.
"You may have made it impossible for Shining Armor to perform his spell, but now that you have so foolishly revealed your true self--"
Princess Celestia runs at the changeling queen, locking horns with her.
"--I can protect my subjects from you."
The Princess flares her wings and takes to the air, her horn flaring with a blinding golden light.

The queen retaliates with a beam of her own light, this one not so much golden as sickly green. Grunting with effort, she strains her power against Celestia's.

--but it's not enough. Her own magic falters, and the changeling magic strikes her like a bolt of lightning.
When the crowd's vision clears, the Princess is in a heap on the floor, her horn scorched and smoking.

Twilight dashes over to the fallen alicorn's side, her friends following in her wake.

"Ah! Shining Armor's love for you is even stronger than I thought! Consuming it has made me even more powerful than Celestia!"

Twilight and her friends give each other one resolute nod before, as one, throwing off their bridesmaid's dresses and galloping out of the chamber.
...well, almost as one. Rarity is delayed because she's trying to keep the dresses from getting wrinkled on their way out.

The queen laughs after them. "You can run, but you can't hide!"

And, with a sound like a million hives of angry hornets, the changeling hordes descend.
